A new study suggests people with disproportionately short legs may be slightly more at risk for Type 2 diabetes than those with longer legs.

Oh come on - short legs and PCOS, I don't stand a chance! How on earth did they come up with such a ridiculous statistic?!
You've gotta laugh ;-)

I am so glad to have found this webpage. I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS and have found it very difficult to find information, at least more than the same 4 paragraphs.
A sudden weight gain a few years ago was the start. My mother was convinced I had a thyroid problem at that time, I never did get tested, but my weight steadied and then I lost some. It hasn't stayed off! I have had serious trouble losing anything because of such severe cravings that I have had no willpower to fight. Not to mention my mood- it was usually best to give into the cravings - safer for all around me. The pain has become so constant that I now wonder what is wrong when I don't have any.
Now with the diagnoses I understand that I have a medical problem not a psychological one and a chance at doing what I can to live a happier, healthier life.
Thank you for being here!

Holly, I hope to provide LOADS more resources for you in the future on this blog. Also, sign up for my newsletter at http://www.pcosmatters.com for even more information on PCOS.
Just remember that you are not alone and PCOS does not make you "abnormal" - it's just one of life's many battles.
Take care and thanks for your great comment,
